As every year, the meeting of the Delegates of the Focolare Movement from the different geographical areas of the world took place. This, which ended last October, was a first five-day stage, the second will take place in February 2022 and will last two weeks.
All managers participated via zoom, some of them gathered together (due to geographical proximity) to follow and share the meeting.
They were days that allowed us to get to know each other, strengthen the relationships between the delegates and the Center and with the President of the Focolare Movement, Margaret Karram and the co-President Jesús Morán.
For the two of us it was the first opportunity to participate in this type of meeting, as those in charge of dialogue with people of non-religious persuasion. We were able to participate in person and this was truly a gift.
After these days, we carry in our hearts the desire to strengthen the relationships between us participants in the meeting, but also with the friends with whom we are "journeying" in many parts of the world. Deep relationships that allow us to live for each other, but also that help us make decisions for our dialogue, with creativity, without fear of the imbalance and effort that this journey undertaken together entails. We are aware that the journey is made with each other and we are only at service to allow this to happen.
These built relationships are the basis for creating synergies between us. We have seen this through online experiences, where the effects multiply. And as a dialogue, we made ourselves available to the other Centers that exist in the Movement, to bring our experience to different fields. We have found in many conversations, some planned and many informal, a great desire for the entire Movement to be open to dialogue with humanity and a sincere feeling of esteem, gratitude and trust for all the people who have been building this dialogue around the world for years.
Brotherhood is our horizon. The dialogue that opens us to others appears to be the path that we want to follow with the entire Focolare Movement to build it.
