Sometimes we are faced with situations where it is difficult to express a judgment, take a position.
We should have a ability to find the deepest sense of things and guess the meanings and perspectives.
There is a need for light, and like the miners that open the metro road after metro with a simple lantern, we too have a light that can illuminate our steps, one at a time. We know: mutual love is a powerful light that guides us and is help for the difficult path of personal consciousness in the paths of life.
It is necessary to be able to deal with the many complexities of views and opinions of those who are next to us or those who meet almost by chance. It is important with everyone to maintain authenticity in the heart and also have the consciousness of the limit of our point of view. This openness and heart, the result of true love, opens us to a dialogue that listens to looking for the good that is in the other and opening the possibility of building something together.
On the subject with this personal research it is a phrase by the theologian Timothy Radcliffe: “The bravest thing we can do [referring to the recent Synod of the bishops] It is sincere with us about our doubts and questions, those for which we have no clear answers. Then we will approach as research companions, beggars of truth[1]».
A point of view that also affected Margaret Karram that commented on this reflection: "Thinking about it, I realized that many times I have not had the courage to truly say what I thought: perhaps for fear of not being understood, perhaps not to say something completely different from the opinion of the majority". For her, «Being 'beggars of truth' means having a sincere attitude of proximity, one towards others, in which all together we seek the good»[2].
It is also the experience of Antía who participates in the artistic group "Mosaic". It was born in 2017 and is composed of young Spanish of different origin and culture that offer their fraternity experience through their art and laboratories. Antía tells us: «It is the connection with my values: a fraternal world, in which each (very young, inexperienced, vulnerable ...) gives their contribution to this project. 'Mosaic' makes me believe that a more united world is not a utopia, despite the difficulties and hard work it entails. I grew up in teamwork, with a brave and barriers without barriers, giving up my ideas that I considered the best. And the result is that 'good' is built piece by piece together, by all of us "[3].
